This shirt celebrates the aspirations of young women towards space, depicting a budding aerospace engineer, Naia Butler-Craig.
Naia Butler-Craig has her BS in Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in astronautics and minors in computational and applied mathematics. She is currently a Aerospace Engineering PhD student at Georgia Tech and works at NASA Glenn Research Center as a pathways intern in the summers. She serves and has served as leadership in clubs like the National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Women in Space Exploration, Dreams Soar Inc. and runs an educational platform on instagram called @blackgirlsinstem.
